new beginnings
I'm back from my hiatus. Since I last posted I ended up moving out for the summer. There was very little privacy in this apartment which is why I quite posting. I regained another 10 lbs but I've lost another 5 lbs when I moved again last month. I've had my fair share of adventures in these past few months which I'll mention more about in future posts. I left my job in that horrible bakery. I live next to a really nice gym in a city closer to the beach. I bike less, but run more.
I recently read The EveryGirl's Guide to Life and it inspired me to completely organize my life. I have a few weeks before school starts and I am spending this time thoroughly cleaning out my stuff. I'm also making a legit office area where I can keep track of school stuff, bills, and work related information.
As for my health, I'm living by a new set of rules. I want everything I snack on to be extremely healthy. I'm trying to go back to being vegetarian. I run my dog and lift weights daily. I want to start surfing more now that I'm living next to the beach. I'm trying to have a new perspective about all of this too. I'm avoiding fatty, salty, greasy snacks because they make me sluggish and depressed. I'm exercising for that release of endorphins. I want to lay a solid foundation so that I can be successful. I'm making my own luck this time around.
All I've had today is one sugar free energy drink. I have a bowl of vegetable soup with my name on it for dinner. That'll bring my calorie total to about 250 calories. My appetite is basically gone because I'm feeling a tad bit under the weather. I still swam for an hour today and I have to take my dog for a run later.
