I have done the whole fasting thing before but it is only a miserable quick fix. I want to loose the extra weight I've gained in a no brainer kind of way. My one manager at work convinced me to try a vegetarian diet which helped me loose 5 lbs within two weeks. It's amazing not being so dependent upon a certain source of food. Fried chicken no longer has power over me. I want to experiment with a vegan diet now. I read skinny bitch and the kind life in order to get some ideas for meal planning and weight loss. I'll post the details tomorrow.
I also started surfing to go along with my new lifestyle. I did it a few years ago when I was in incredible shape and I remember my abs burning for the next week. The last time I paddled out, dolphins were swimming next to everyone. It was amazing being out in the elements. That combined with regular bike rides and daily swimming should make me slim again.
My best friend told me about her body issues. I didn't know how to respond so I suggested we update each other every day on what we eat. That way, we feel like we're being judged at each meal. So far I've taken a step back before I eat to decide whether or not it's sexy food (food that makes me feel pretty, skinny, and sexy). It's not about calories, it's about outdoing each other with healthiness. For my nonexistent followers, I'll post exact meals and calories every day (that's the goal).

Total: 530 calories
I don't think thats too bad. I don't want to starve completely because I work out a lot. I went for a 2 hr bike ride so I probably burnt quite a few calories. I'm tapering my calories down so I don't focus on food constantly. I have a life to live after all. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice and warm so I'm either going to the pool for laps or the beach. :)
